Importance of fitness consultation: The fitness assessment measures success in many key ways. Measurements do not lie and may provide a credible basis for evaluation client progress. The fitness assessment can track cardiovascular endurance, muscle endurance, physical coordination, proper form, physical strength, muscle gain, weight loss, and body fat changes.  

Value of the fitness consultation: The fitness assessment equips the personal trainer with the necessary information to inform the client as to their current physical condition. Although it varies from client to client the information that is revealed in the fitness assessment may encourage the client to begin a program immediately. Most importantly the fitness assessment provides the trainer with the necessary information to customize a solid PT program for the client. At the time of the assessment the personal trainer should be prepared to discuss the client’s intensity, changes in body fat and lean muscle mass, nutrition, workout intensity, and muscle endurance.

Your Fitness Consultation will consist of: 

  • A 30-min Fitness Consultation 
  • A 30-min workout coached by a personal trainer 
  • Goal Setting and Start-up Guidelines for your individual needs 
  • Health Screening and Body Fat Analysis 
  • Start-up Routine consisting of 5-6 exercises and Cardio Recommendations 

What will you experience from the workout?  

  • An intense workout appropriate for your level of fitness 
  • Slight elevation in heart rate, some sweating and general tightness of major muscle groups 
  • General soreness is expected afterward 
  • Stretching properly before and after exercise will decrease soreness 

How long will it take? 

  • Allow 60 min for your complimentary Fitness Consultation 

What should I wear? 

  • Loose fitting, comfortable exercise clothing

  • Please arrive 5 minutes early to get the most out of your consultation 
  • Please give 24-hour notice if you need to cancel your appointment. Our training staff will make every effort to reschedule you as soon as possible
